outreach supported missionaries

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit - Matthew 28:19

Jesus' mission is our mission: to go and make disciples and reach the ends of the earth for His glory, making His name known.

God has called each of us as Christians at DBBC to be missionaries here in our communities -  reaching our colleagues, friends, family, and neighbours with the good news of Jesus. And God also calls us to reach all nations, or to global missions. There are many unreached nations around the world that need to hear about Jesus.

Here at DBBC we have partnered with 3 couples (1 local and 2 global) and are financially committed to assisting them in spreading the good new of Jesus.

Jeff and Edi Torrans – Focus Club

Jeff serves as Kamloops city director and campus director of the Thompson Rivers University FOCUS Club which is designed to reach international students for Jesus. And with his great team of ten student and non-student leaders directing worship, table discussions, and social activities they are able to provide a place where they can share friendship, build confidence, and develop Christ-centered leadership skills.

Mike and Kathleen Matthews – InterAct Ministries

Mike’s official title with InterAct is “ambassador-at-large.” Mike works within the
various fields of Interact (Alaska, Canada, and Russia) on various projects as
deemed necessary by the General Director. Currently, most of those projects deal
with training and consulting new and existing missionaries.

Mark Naylor - Fellowship International

Mark served with Karen, his wife, with Fellowship International for 14 years,
doing evangelism, church planting and leadership development. He continues with
his responsibilities as the supervisor and primary exegete for a Bible translation
project at ACTS Seminary. Besides coaching churches in missions, he loves
training people to have significant conversations.
